Christmas Take 2

Merry Christmas once again!! Andy and I didn't have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas on the 25th so we have spent the last two days celebrating with one another. In the weeks leading up to Christmas we were both really busy and never got around to decorating our apartment. We also couldn't figure out where in the world we would put a tree or other decorations. So imagine my surprise when Andy called after Christmas and said he had found a tree and other decorations! Aparently some of the guests at the hotel had bought a tree and put it up in their room during their stay. Well, since Christmas trees are not very easy to pack into a couple of suitcases these guests had to leave their tree behind. Andy, the nice guy that he is, told the people that he would gladly take care of the tree for them. So, I guess we recycled the tree in a sense! And not only did Andy put up the tree but he also retrieved my ornaments from our storage unit and decorated the tree with them! What a guy!! Oh we also acquired a couple of pointsettas from the guests, further adding to the wonderful festiveness of our room. Andy also bought some garland and hung it around our window then wrapped a few presents and placed them under the tree. Finally, he hung a couple of stockings near the loveseat. I was speechless when I walked in the room late Friday night! The room is absolutely beautiful! Also exciting is the fact that Andy was able to take off both Saturday and Sunday so we could spend time together and celebrate Christmas for two days!! Yesterday we celebrated with a nice breakfast and the exchange of gifts. Today we hit the slopes together. We couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
